PRIDE HOUSE

KNOWLEDGE AND CULTURE

13-19 June

Panel discussions, workshops or film screenings?

Pride House, our concept for seminars, talks, exhibitions and workshops, is, as in previous years, held at the cultural institutions around Götaplatsen. We have more than 100 important and interesting program items in Pride House every year.

Theme: Democracy

In connection to the election year, West Pride wants to lift democracy from an LGBTQI perspective as a theme for the 2022 festival. What does democracy mean for you / your organization from an LGBTQI perspective? What issues do you / your organization consider important for LGBTQI people?

West Pride encourages you to scrutinize authorities at a national, regional and municipal level based on our democratic rights to create an equal society. We also want to encourage you organizers to arrange program items related to the theme.

Streaming

West Pride festival 2021 was live-streamed to our Facebook page and our website, from both Pride Park and Pride House. It was a great success and many watched from around the world. We hope to live-stream parts of the festival in 2022 as well.

Accessibility

Everything in Pride House is free.

You can read about the venues and their accessibility further down the page.

Who can participate?

In order for commercial organisations to participate with program items during the festival, they must be partners with West Pride. Otherwise, participation is only possible as an exhibitor in Pride Park. West Pride reserves the right to make exceptions for certain actors who are considered to add value to the festival and the community.

THE PROGRAM application FOR WEST PRIDE 2022 IS closed.
