Become a Volunteer

Do you want to create an equal and including world free from prejudices and discrimination? If your answer is yes – then you should become a volunteer at West Pride! As a volunteer you are invaluable and without committed volunteers there wouldn’t be a festival. 

West Pride is a costless art and culture festival and works for a world free of prejudices and harassment. We raise norm criticism and create safe spaces for LGBTQI people. In June 2023 Gothenburg’s streets are filled with over 500 rainbow flags and invites to almost 250 activities in order to raise awareness regarding the life situation of LGBTQI people. 

We need you to make this possible! 

BECOME A PART OF OUT BIG VOLUNTEER FAMILY 

With almost 200 committed volunteers we together create a Gothenburg for everyone, where LGBTQI people’s rights are in focus. We celebrate our victories, learn from each other and create togetherness and a change for the future. 

As a volunteer at West Pride you will get an LGBTQI-education, new friends and experiences, a work certificate and a goodie bag filled with surprises.
