West Pride proudly presents more than 170 programme items during the festival, which takes place from 27 September to 3 October.
The parade on 2 October, which is one of the most important activities during the festival, will take place thanks to the lifting of restrictions that come into force on 29 September.
– It feels wonderful to be able to welcome everyone to the festival, whether in physical form or digitally. To be able to take part in the first real pride parade in Sweden since the beginning of the pandemic feels like a privilege. The feeling of being able to manifest human rights together is not comparable to anything else, says Emma Gunterberg Sachs, General Manager.
We present a maxed stage program in Pride Park in Eriksbergshallen with names such as Tove Styrke, Janice, Dotter, Märta Stenevi, Marika Carlsson, Omar Rudberg, Bobby Oduncu, Clara Henry, Petrina Solange, and Shanthi Rydwall-Menon.
PRIDE PARK 2-3 October
No entrance fee or ticket is required to visit Pride Park. The stage programme is also streamed and shown on West Pride’s Facebook page, website and via GT’s and GöteborgDirekt’s websites.
Pride Park in Eriksbergshallen is open on Saturday 2 October from 2pm–1am and Sunday 3 October from 12am-8pm. The venue consists of a stage section with space for the audience, an exhibition area and a restaurant area. Visitors can move freely between the different parts.
PRIDE HOUSE 29 September–3 October
Pride House, our concept for seminars, talks, exhibitions and workshops, is, as in previous years, largely left with the cultural institutions around Götaplatsen. We have more than 100 important and interesting program items in Pride House. The program on Trappscenen in the City Library led by Aleksa Lundberg will be streamed Wednesday through Friday and will be available on West Pride’s Facebook page and website.
PRIDE PARADE 2 October
Pride Parade takes place on October 2 at noon starting from Gibraltarvallen, down to Götaplatsen and Avenyn to finish in Bältespännarparken. The public does not have to pre-register, it is enough to show up at 11am on Gibraltarvallen: Click here to read more!
CITY EVENTS 27 September–3 October
Don’t miss all the fantastic program items that take place at organizers in Gothenburg and other municipalities in Västra Götaland.
INFO CENTRE IN NORDSTAN 24 September–3 October
